School council

What is the School Council?

The School Council is an elected body of parents and staff who help with the governance of our school. Community members are invited to sit on the Council as well. Meetings are held usually once a term and the minutes from these meetings are presented at P&C meetings. Significant areas of involvement include:

  • monitoring the school's finances
  • reviewing and endorsing school policies
  • guidelines and procedures
  • analysing the school's Year 3 and Year 5 NAPLAN results
  • assisting with the preparation of the School's Annual Report and promoting a positive school image.
